Southeast Indy.
Big southeast region: Beech Grove's Main Street, Christian Park and Southeastway Park's trails.
The lowdown
Southeast Indy covers a lot of ground, from Christian Park along Pleasant Run out to the woods along Buck Creek in Franklin Township. Emerson Avenue, English Avenue and I-74 tie it together. In the middle sits Beech Grove, its own small city with a walkable Main Street, the Franciscan Trail and a fall festival. Housing leans toward mid-century ranches, Cape Cods and split-levels. Southeastway Park gives us four miles of trails in the far corner of the county.
